Butter Chicken Chickpeas

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/four teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly floor pepper
  • half of onion, chopped
  • 1 pink bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon clean ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • half of cup water
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans chickpeas, tired and rinsed
  • 1 (four hundred mL) jar Patak's Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • crimson chili pepper flakes (elective)

Instructions :

Prep : 10M Cook : 4M Ready in : 30M
  • Heat oil in massive Dutch oven or massive saucepan over medium-high warmth.
  • Add onion and purple pepper and saute until onions are translucent.
  • Add chickpeas, garlic, and ginger and saute for 2 minutes. Add water and prepare dinner, stirring for 3 to five mins.
  • Stir in Patak's Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce, salt, and pepper, and bring to a simmer. Cook blanketed, stirring occasionally, for 5 to eight mins.
  • Garnish with cilantro and purple chilli peppers (elective).
